![]() Was developed in Switzerland and the curriculum was created by the IBO in Geneva. This program is ideal for students who already know in which area they would like to work or study after school. They can concentrate on their individual strengths and ignore their weaknesses. The British school system offers students the opportunity to concentrate on 3-4 subjects in the Sixth Form, the final two years at school. This is an ideal preparation for the 2-years A-level or IB program. Some schools offer a special one-year GCSE or pre-IB course for international year 11 students. The GCSE is internationally recognized and many students leave school afterwards to begin an apprenticeship.
